According to the data of the Ministry of Commerce's important means of production market monitoring system: From June 17th to June 23rd, judging from the sample data of monitored varieties, the average price of coal in Inner Mongolia was 845.95 yuan/ton, an increase of 0.4% from the previous month. Compared with the same period last year (hereinafter referred to as the year-on-year period), it decreased by 1.3%. Among them, the average price of anthracite No. 2 washed lump coal was 972.5 yuan/ton, a decrease of 0.8% month-on-month, and a year-on-year decrease of 0.4%; 4.3%; the average price of 1/3 coking coal for coking coal was 830.09 yuan/ton, a decrease of 0.3% month-on-month and a year-on-year decrease of 0.5%.
The Department of Commerce of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region stated that due to the impact of large-scale high-temperature weather, the daily consumption of downstream power plants continued to be high, and the demand for thermal power grew rapidly. From the pit mouth to the port, the thermal coal market continues to strengthen, the inventory of power plants has fallen, and the demand has increased. The resumption of work and production of non-power-consuming enterprises has also increased energy consumption, which together promotes a month-on-month increase in coal prices. It is expected that the coal market will be stable in the near future, and prices will fluctuate.
