Abstract: On the basis of the submission by the provincial industry and information technology department, our ministry has determined the 2023 national industrial energy conservation supervision task. The relevant matters are notified as follows:

In accordance with the "Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Organizing and Carrying out the Supervision of Industrial Energy Conservation in 2023" (Gongxinting Jiehan [2023] No. 86, hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), in the provincial industry and information technology On the basis of the submission by the competent department, our ministry has determined the national industrial energy conservation supervision tasks for 2023. The relevant matters are notified as follows:
1. Special energy-saving monitoring tasks
Considering the characteristics of the industry, the size of the enterprise, the region where it is located, and the content of the supervision, 4,391 enterprises with national industrial energy conservation supervision tasks were determined. Among them, there are 1,891 special inspections on energy efficiency in key industries such as iron and steel, petrochemicals, building materials, and non-ferrous metals, 242 special inspections on energy efficiency in key areas such as data centers, and 2,125 special inspections on energy efficiency in green factories and national green data centers. In 2022, the rectification and reform of violating enterprises will be implemented 133 companies were specially monitored for the situation (see Appendix 1 for the list).
Second, job requirements
(1) Strengthen responsibility implementation. The competent departments of industry and information technology in various places must thoroughly implement the "China Energy Conservation Law", in accordance with the relevant requirements of the "Industrial Energy Conservation Management Measures" and "Industrial Energy Conservation Supervision Measures", strengthen the main responsibility, strictly enforce the industrial energy conservation supervision and law enforcement, and continuously improve the implementation of the law. Law efficiency, promote enterprises to save energy and improve energy utilization efficiency, and accelerate green and low-carbon development.
(2) Strengthen team building. Continue to promote the construction of the industrial energy conservation supervision system at the provincial, municipal and county levels, continuously improve the capability of the industrial energy conservation supervision team, give full play to the supporting role of third-party agencies and experts, strengthen the linkage between departments, and ensure high-quality completion of industrial energy conservation supervision tasks.
(3) Ensure work progress. In accordance with the time schedule and various requirements specified in the "Notice", and in accordance with the Industrial Energy Conservation Supervision Work Manual (see Annex 2), organize and carry out on-site supervision as soon as possible, and submit the supervision results and annual work summary report in a timely manner.
