Foreign news on June 27, data released by the American Petroleum Institute (API) on Tuesday showed that U.S. crude oil and gasoline inventories fell last week, while distillate inventories rose.
U.S. crude oil inventories fell by about 2.4 million barrels in the week ended June 23, gasoline inventories fell by about 2.9 million barrels, while distillate inventories rose by about 780,000 barrels.
Analysts had previously predicted that U.S. crude oil inventories were expected to fall by 1.8 million barrels last week, gasoline inventories fell by 100,000 barrels and distillate inventories rose by 800,000 barrels.
