Foreign news on June 23, according to data released by the government on Friday, India's crude oil imports in May increased by 2% year-on-year to 20.04 million tons, compared with 19.95 million tons in April.
Data from the website of India's Petroleum Planning and Analysis Group (PPAC) also showed that India's imports of refined oil products in May increased by 21% from the previous month to 3.64 million tons.
