Bureau of Statistics: In the first five months of the year the output of copper products in provinces and cities nationwide increased by 6.7% year-on-year

The latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics shows that from January to May 2023, China's cumulative output of copper products is 8.757 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.7%. Among them, the top three provinces in production are Jiangxi, Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and Jiangxi's copper production increased by 2.46% year-on-year. In May 2023, China's copper output was 1.999 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.2%; the cumulative output from January to May was 8.757 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.7%. The output of refined copper (electrolytic copper) in May was 1.095 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%; the cumulative output from January to May was 5.204 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.1%.
