On June 9, Hitech New Energy announced that the company intends to sign the "Yancheng Economic and Technological Development Zone Hitech New Energy 10GW-TopCop High Efficiency Photovoltaic Cell Project Investment Agreement" with the Photoelectric Industrial Park of Yancheng Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is planned to build a 10GW-TopCop high-efficiency photovoltaic cell project in the Photoelectric Industrial Park of Yancheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a total investment of about 5 billion yuan, including about 3.3 billion yuan in fixed assets, covering an area of about 300 mu.
Among them, the first phase of the project invests in the construction of a 5GW TopCon high-efficiency photovoltaic cell project, with a total investment of about 2.5 billion yuan, of which: 1.7 billion yuan in fixed assets. The investment in the first phase of the project is completed through the establishment of a subsidiary company with a registered capital of 500 million yuan. The name of the subsidiary is Haitai New Energy (Jiangsu) Technology Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 500 million yuan and a registered address in the Photoelectric Industrial Park of Yancheng Economic and Technological Development Zone. The business scope of the subsidiary includes research and development, processing, Manufacturing, sales and technical services; sales and technical services of photovoltaic materials and equipment; import and export of goods and technologies.
