The upgrading and transformation project of supporting raw material calcium carbide (calcium carbide) capacity replacement technology implemented by Inner Mongolia Junzheng Chemical Co., Ltd. is accelerating. "Inner Mongolia Chemical Industry" learned from relevant departments on April 26, 2023 that the Wuhai Ecological Environment Bureau has launched an announcement of the acceptance of environmental impact assessment documents for the project, which indicates that the project is advancing at an accelerated pace.
According to reports, the project construction site is located in Wuda Industrial Park, Wuda High-tech Development Zone, Wuhai City, with a total investment of 238,382.89 Ten thousand yuan, covers an area of 239585.04m2. The overall planning and construction of calcium carbide production equipment is 6×81000KVA Closed calcium carbide furnace, 2 calcium carbide furnaces are arranged in one workshop, and the power consumption of the electric furnace of the calcium carbide production device can be controlled at ≤3050kWh/t. The production capacity of calcium carbide (calcium carbide) is 698,000 tons/a, and the output of by-product calcium carbide furnace gas is 314 million tons Nm3la, lime 800,000 tons/a.
Calcium carbide products (698,000 tons/a) are mainly supporting "Inner Mongolia Junzheng Chemical Co., Ltd. with an annual output of 2×600,000 tons BDO plant and 2×1 PBAT/PBS/PBT/PTMEG Green Environmental Protection and Circular Industry Phase I Project", to realize the extension of BDO and the front chain of PTMEG industrial chain of Inner Mongolia Junzheng Chemical Co., Ltd. and the development of circular economy.
The by-product calcium carbide furnace gas (314 million Nm 3la) is sent to the downstream methanol chemical plant; the by-product lime (800,000 tons/a) includes 73,200 tons for sale, and the rest for self-use.
