On the evening of May 4th, Shaanxi Yulin Energy Group Shaanxi Yuneng Chemical Materials Co., Ltd. successfully ignited the 2# boiler of the coal-to-400,000 tons/year ethylene glycol project.
The successful ignition of the 2# boiler for the first time is another important node successfully completed after the project 1# boiler is ignited. A favorable foundation has been laid.
As the source of high-pressure steam power for the whole plant, the power center is responsible for the steam balance of the whole plant, and at the same time provides an important guarantee for the project pipeline purge and test steam. The power center has 3 circulating fluidized bed boilers, each of which can produce 350 tons of high-pressure steam per hour; 2 sets of 30 MW back-pressure steam turbine generator sets, through the methods of reducing temperature and reducing pressure, driving steam turbines, etc., the output is qualified Medium and low pressure steam, and has the ability to generate electricity. Its supporting flue gas desulfurization and denitrification environmental protection facilities can realize “clean” flue gas emissions; the coal transportation system can provide fuel coal and raw coal for boilers and gasifiers.
It is reported that Shaanxi Yulin Energy Group Co., Ltd. has an investment of 6.243 billion yuan in the first phase of coal production of 1.2 million tons/year ethylene glycol and 400,000 tons/year ethylene glycol start-up project. The planned total area is 1711 mu. The start-up project of the coal-based clean fuel base and the high-end chemical material base in Qingshui Industrial Park, Yushen Industrial Zone. The project uses mixed coal as raw material and uses Kelin pulverized coal gasification to produce crude synthesis gas. The synthesis of ethylene glycol is Zhongke Far East Technology. The construction content includes coal gasification unit, purification unit, H2/CO separation unit, ethylene glycol unit, etc.
