The average price of coal in Shaanxi Province fell slightly in the third week of May

According to the Ministry of Commerce's important means of production market monitoring system, from May 13 to May 19, the average price of coal in Shaanxi Province was 1,400.0 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 3.8%. Among them: anthracite 1880.0 yuan / ton, a month-on-month decrease of 5.1%; coking coal 1367.5 yuan / ton, a month-on-month decrease of 4.7%. Entering May, the overall loose supply and demand pattern of coal in Shaanxi has not changed significantly, while the negative feedback of demand terminal steel has intensified and spread upstream, and the price of PCI coal continues to bottom out. It is expected that the price of thermal coal will run weak in the later period, and the support of the raw coal cost of PCI coal will not be strong. The price difference between bituminous coal and anthracite will widen again, and the market demand for anthracite PCI will decrease again.
