In the first four months of 2023, Thailand exported a total of 910,000 tons of natural rubber (excluding compound rubber), a year-on-year decrease of 23%. Among them, the total export of standard rubber was 479,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 17%; the export of smoked sheet rubber was 128,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 25%; the export of latex was 296,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 27%.
From January to April, the total amount of natural rubber exported to China was 379,000 tons, an increase of 1.3% year-on-year. Among them, the total export of standard rubber to China was 214,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 3%; the total export of smoked sheet rubber to China was 30,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 50%; the total export of latex to China was 135,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.5%.
From January to April, Thailand exported a total of 740,000 tons of mixed rubber, an increase of 62% year-on-year; the total export of mixed rubber to China was 736,000 tons, an increase of 64% year-on-year.
On the whole, Thailand exported 1.65 million tons of natural rubber and mixed rubber in the first four months, a year-on-year increase of 0.8%; a total of 1.115 million tons were exported to China, a year-on-year increase of 35%.
