In the first week of May coal prices in Yunnan Province fell slightly month-on-month

According to the Ministry of Commerce's important means of production market monitoring system, this week (May 1-7, 2023), the average price of coal in Yunnan Province was 1333.5 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 2.4%. Among them, the average price of anthracite was 1,000 yuan/ton, which was flat from the previous month; the average price of thermal coal was 886.4 yuan/ton, which was a decrease of 0.6% from the previous month; the average price of coking coal was 2,114 yuan/ton, which was a decrease of 4.3% from the previous month. The coal market is well supplied, and the price has dropped slightly month-on-month. It is expected that in the later period, the demand of downstream building materials and other enterprises will be weak, and the price of coal may be stable with a decline.
