In order to ensure the safety of electricity during the peak summer season, the annual maintenance of the plus or minus 500 kV Debao DC transmission project has been fully launched. As the energy "artery" for Shaanxi's electric power transmission, the project realizes the "mutual supply of power resources between the north and the south" and "mutual aid of water and fire" in the Yangtze River and Yellow River basins, and plays an important role in ensuring power supply during the summer peak.
It is the first time in China that a comprehensive physical examination of the valve hall of the converter station is carried out through the innovative application of three-dimensional imaging technology. In the valve hall of the plus or minus 500 kV Baoji converter station, electric power maintenance personnel are using three-dimensional modeling technology to carry out three-dimensional modeling of the "heart" components of the converter station, using three-dimensional restoration and digital presentation, and further passing the model data Compared with the actual situation on site, the connecting wires in the components in the valve hall are inspected, and the hidden dangers of equipment defects are accurately located.
After the completion of this overhaul, it will effectively improve the healthy operation level of the power transmission and transformation equipment of the Debao DC Project, and lay a solid foundation for the safe and reliable supply of power during the summer peak season.
Energy production continues to accelerate and supply is stable and orderly
It is also very important to ensure the supply of electricity during the peak summer, and the stable and orderly supply of energy. Since 2023, my country's energy production has been accelerating.
According to the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in April, my country's raw coal, natural gas and other energy production showed a trend of acceleration. Among them, the production of raw coal increased by 4.5% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 0.2 percentage points faster than that in March; natural gas increased by 7.0% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 3 percentage points faster than that in March. At the same time, my country's electricity production is also accelerating. In April, the growth rate of my country's power generation was 1.0 percentage points faster than that in March.
As of May 19, the National Energy Group has completed an annual coal output of 295 million tons, which effectively guarantees the stable supply of energy. The reporter learned from the China Coal Industry Association that at present, the supply of coal for power generation and heating in the country is stable and orderly. Overall, the supply and demand of the coal market will maintain a basic balance in 2023.
The National Energy Administration also requires that we focus on ensuring the quantity, quality and price of thermal coal supply. Approved projects should start construction as soon as possible and be put into production as soon as possible. All provinces should do a good job in the signing and performance of medium and long-term power coal contract agreements with guaranteed quality and quantity.
