The production of raw coal has grown steadily. In March, 10.087 million tons of raw coal were produced, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%, and the growth rate was 2.6 percentage points faster than that in January-February. From January to March, 27.998 million tons of raw coal were produced, a year-on-year increase of 0.8%.
Growth in electricity production accelerated. In March, the power generation was 26.26 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 6.7%, and the growth rate was 12.8 percentage points faster than that in January-February; the cumulative power generation was 76.55 billion kwh, a decrease of 2.3%, and the decline rate was 3.8 percentage points narrower than that in January-February. In terms of varieties, in March, the growth rate of thermal power accelerated, the growth rate of hydropower remained stable, the growth rate of wind power dropped, and the amount of solar power decreased by a large margin. Among them, thermal power increased by 6.3% year-on-year, and fell by 8.8% in January-February; wind power increased by 1.7%, and the growth rate was 22.8 percentage points lower than that in January-February; solar power increased by 7.7%, and the growth rate was 33.1% lower than that in January-February. percent.
