Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics recently showed that the national coal price in the first ten days of May once again showed an overall downward trend. The specific price changes of various coal types are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed medium, volatile content ≤ 8%) was 1359.2 yuan/ton, a decrease of 20.8 yuan/ton or 1.5% from the previous period.
The price of ordinary mixed coal (a mixture of fine coal and lump coal in Shanxi, with a calorific value of 4500 kcal) was 771.7 yuan/ton, a decrease of 2.1 yuan/ton or 0.3% from the previous period.
The price of Shanxi mixed coal (good quality mixed coal, calorific value 5,000 kcal) was 886.7 yuan/ton, a decrease of 2.1 yuan/ton or 0.2% from the previous period.
The price of Shanxi excellent mixed coal (high-quality mixed coal with a calorific value of 5,500 kcal) was 995.0 yuan/ton, a decrease of 6.3 yuan/ton or 0.6% from the previous period.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, sulfur content <1%) was 1666.7 yuan/ton, a decrease of 194.0 yuan/ton or 10.4% from the previous period.
From the above data, it can be seen that in the first ten days of May, the prices of all types of thermal coal fell again, but the decline was not large; the decline of anthracite prices also narrowed significantly; but the decline of coking coal prices expanded again.
