Daqing Petrochemical's 400,000-ton carbon dioxide recovery project is the first carbon dioxide capture project in Daqing Petrochemical's refinery, chemical and new material sectors, and it is also a key CCUS (carbon dioxide capture, storage and utilization) technology application project in Daqing City. After it is completed and put into operation, it can directly reduce carbon emissions by 400,000 tons per year, which is equivalent to increasing the forest area by 400,000 mu. It will produce significant social benefits and is of great significance to the green transformation and development of enterprises.
This project utilizes the carbon dioxide compressor of the old urea plant, and installs a drier at the outlet of the second stage of the carbon dioxide compressor. Gas is converted into high-purity carbon dioxide with a volume ratio of more than 99%, realizing waste utilization.
This project can dry and liquefy the by-product carbon dioxide and use it as an oil field carbon dioxide oil displacement agent, which not only reduces carbon emissions, but also reduces the emission of environmental greenhouse gases. It is also an emerging oil field oil displacement agent. In order to improve the ultimate recovery rate of oil wells in existing oil fields, more than 23 million yuan can be created each year.
At present, in addition to this project, Daqing Petrochemical Company is planning to build a 1 million tons/year thermal power plant and a 1 million tons/year low-concentration carbon source carbon dioxide recovery project for an oil refinery.
