This year, Qinghai carried out fertilizer and pesticide reduction and efficiency enhancement actions in 8 cities (prefectures), 32 counties (cities, districts, administrative committees), 2 state-owned agricultural and animal husbandry group companies, and 2 farms, covering an area of 3 million Mu, will integrate a group of replicable, scalable and sustainable organic fertilizers instead of chemical fertilizer production technology models, and reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and chemical pesticides in the province by more than 25% and 20% respectively compared with before the implementation of the action.
