The data released by the National Bureau of Statistics recently showed that in late April, the national coal price fell mainly, and the decline of some coal types was further expanded than that in the middle of the month; but the price of low-calorie thermal coal rebounded slightly. The specific price changes of various coal types are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed medium, volatile content ≤ 8%) was 1380.0 yuan/ton, a decrease of 46.4 yuan/ton or 3.3% from the previous period.
The price of ordinary mixed coal (a mixture of fine coal and lump coal in Shanxi, with a calorific value of 4,500 kcal) was 773.8 yuan/ton, an increase of 5.2 yuan/ton, or 0.7%, from the previous period.
The price of Shanxi mixed coal (good quality mixed coal, calorific value 5,000 kcal) is 888.8 yuan/ton, an increase of 11.7 yuan/ton or 1.3% over the previous period.
The price of Shanxi excellent mixed coal (high-quality mixed coal with a calorific value of 5500 kcal) was 1001.3 yuan/ton, a decrease of 14.4 yuan/ton or 1.4% from the previous period.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, sulfur content <1%) was 1860.7 yuan/ton, a decrease of 189.3 yuan/ton or 9.2% from the previous period.
From the above data, it can be seen that in late April, except for low-calorie thermal coal, the prices of other coal types maintained a downward trend, but except for coking coal, the downward trend slowed down.
