The Chongqing Municipal Health and Health Commission and the Sichuan Provincial Health and Health Commission recently jointly issued a notice to speed up the mutual recognition of inspection and testing results of medical institutions at the second level and above in the two places. 29 districts (counties) including Fuling and 291 secondary and above public general hospitals in 15 adjacent areas including Chengdu, Zigong, and Luzhou in Sichuan Province have mutual recognition of inspection results.
Promoting mutual recognition and sharing of cross-regional inspection and test results will help improve the efficiency of medical resource utilization, reduce medical expenses, and improve the medical experience of the masses. The mutual recognition includes 45 clinical test results and 67 medical imaging test results, covering common items such as X-ray, CT and clinical tests. Medical institutions should take the initiative to remind patients when they receive a consultation. If they have recent (generally within 3 months) inspection and test results issued by a medical institution with mutual recognition qualifications, they can provide relevant test result reports or medical images for the doctor's reference. If the existing inspection and test results provided by the patient meet the conditions for mutual recognition and meet the needs of diagnosis and treatment, medical personnel should approve them in accordance with the mutual recognition items and scope of application, and do not repeat inspections and tests.
According to reports, Sichuan and Chongqing will also explore the establishment of a mutual recognition platform for inspection and testing results, promote the sharing of inspection and testing data, realize the interconnection and mutual recognition of inspection and testing data between medical institutions across regions, and combine medical technology development and management If necessary, timely adjust the inspection and inspection mutual recognition items between the two places.
