Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics recently showed that the national coal price continued to drop in mid-April, and the decline further expanded compared with the first ten days. The specific price changes of various coal types are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed medium, volatile content ≤ 8%) was 1425.4 yuan/ton, a decrease of 92.6 yuan/ton or 6.1% from the previous period.
The price of ordinary mixed coal (a mixture of fine coal and lump coal in Shanxi, with a calorific value of 4500 kcal) was 768.6 yuan/ton, a decrease of 32.2 yuan/ton or 4.0% from the previous period.
The price of Shanxi mixed coal (good quality mixed coal, calorific value 5,000 kcal) was 877.1 yuan/ton, a decrease of 37.9 yuan/ton or 4.1% from the previous period.
The price of Shanxi excellent mixed coal (high-quality mixed coal with a calorific value of 5500 kcal) was 1015.7 yuan/ton, a decrease of 56.8 yuan/ton or 5.3% from the previous period.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, sulfur content <1%) was 2050.0 yuan/ton, a decrease of 165.0 yuan/ton or 7.4% from the previous period.
From the above data, it can be seen that in mid-April, the price declines of various coal types have expanded compared with early April, especially anthracite and high-calorie thermal coal, and coking coal is still the largest decline in relative terms.
