The latest news from the Statistical Bureau of the Autonomous Region: In the first quarter of this year, the output of major energy products in Inner Mongolia maintained a steady growth, ranking among the top in the country.
From the perspective of raw coal production, in the first quarter, industrial enterprises above designated size in Inner Mongolia produced 312 million tons of raw coal (a year-on-year increase of 3.5%), accounting for 27.1% of the national raw coal production in the same period, ranking second in the country, driving the national raw coal production to increase by 1.0% in the same period percent.
In terms of power generation, in the first quarter, the power generation of industrial enterprises above designated size in Inner Mongolia was 170.38 billion kWh (a year-on-year increase of 9.2%), accounting for 8.2% of the national power generation in the same period, ranking first in the country. Among them, thermal power generation (6.7% year-on-year increase) accounted for 9.0% of the national thermal power generation in the same period, ranking first in the country; wind power generation (23.2% year-on-year growth) accounted for 15.0% of the national wind power generation in the same period, ranking first in the country one.
In terms of liquefied natural gas production, in the first quarter, industrial enterprises above designated size in Inner Mongolia produced 1.31 million tons of liquefied natural gas (a year-on-year increase of 11.1%), accounting for 29.4% of the national liquefied natural gas production in the same period, ranking first in the country. The contribution rate of natural gas production growth was as high as 33.2%.
From the perspective of coke production, in the first quarter, industrial enterprises above designated size in Inner Mongolia produced 12.737 million tons of coke (a year-on-year increase of 11.4%), accounting for 10.6% of the national coke production in the same period, ranking second in the country, driving the national coke production to increase by 1.1% in the same period percent.
