The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers announced on the 23rd the sales of key enterprise groups in the first quarter of 2023: the total sales of the top ten enterprise groups in China's new energy vehicle sales increased by 41.4% year-on-year.
In the first quarter of 2023, the sales of the top ten enterprise groups in China's new energy vehicle sales totaled 1.348 million, a year-on-year increase of 41.4%, accounting for 85% of the total sales of new energy vehicles, higher than the 9.2 in the same period last year percentage point.
Among the above ten companies, BYD's sales have maintained a high growth rate on a high base, and Changan Automobile's sales have also maintained high growth.
According to the statistical analysis of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in the first quarter of 2023, the overall sales of key enterprise groups have declined.
In the first quarter of 2023, the sales volume of the top ten enterprise groups in China's domestic automobile sales totaled 4.315 million, a year-on-year decrease of 16.3%, accounting for 84.9% of the total automobile sales, 2.1 percentage points lower than the same period last year.
Among the above ten companies, BYD, BAIC, and BMW Brilliance achieved positive sales growth compared with the previous year, and BMW Brilliance entered the top ten companies for the first time in terms of sales. Other companies showed varying degrees of decline.
