According to the latest report of the Cambodian General Administration of Rubber, Cambodia exported 65,921 tons of rubber in the first quarter of 2023, an increase of 6.8% from 61,739 tons in the same period last year.
The country earned $89 million from rubber exports in the first quarter, down 9.5 percent from $98.4 million a year earlier, the report said.
The country's rubber is mainly exported to Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and China.
As of now, Cambodia has a total of 404,578 hectares of rubber plantations, of which 315,332 hectares or 77.9% are harvestable.
