Measures include continuing and optimizing the vehicle purchase tax reduction and exemption policy for new energy vehicles: from 2024 to 2025, the vehicle purchase tax will be exempted, and the tax exemption for each vehicle will not exceed 30,000 yuan; from 2026 to 2027, the vehicle purchase tax will be halved , the amount of tax reduction for each vehicle shall not exceed 15,000 yuan. According to the relevant person in charge of the State Administration of Taxation, in the first half of 2023, China's exemption from the purchase tax of new energy vehicles will reach 49.17 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 44.1%.
Subsidies and consumer coupons have been gradually launched in various places. From March to the end of August this year in Beijing, the subsidy for replacing new energy vehicles can reach 10,000 yuan; in Linyi, Shandong, automobile consumption coupons with a total value of 20 million yuan are issued; From the 16th, a total of 33 million yuan of automobile consumption coupons will be issued.
To promote car consumption, car companies are also taking active actions. Since August, 11 car companies have reduced the prices of some of their models through different forms such as new car discounts and terminal profit sharing. The price cuts range from 10,000 yuan per vehicle to 60,000 yuan per vehicle.
Since the beginning of this year, China has continued to introduce measures to promote automobile consumption. From January to July, China's automobile sales reached 15.626 million, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%. Among them, the sales of new energy vehicles reached 4.526 million, a year-on-year increase of 41.7%. , The effect of stabilizing growth is beginning to appear.
