According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Commerce, last week (August 14th to 20th), the national coal price fluctuated slightly, of which thermal coal was 827 yuan per ton, a decrease of 0.4%, coking coal was 1270 yuan per ton, an increase of 0.1%, and No. 2 smokeless Lump coal was 1322 yuan per ton, unchanged from the previous week. The prices of steel products dropped slightly, among which the prices of ordinary medium plate, hot-rolled strip steel and threaded steel were 4,300 yuan, 4,187 yuan and 3,901 yuan per ton, down 0.4%, 0.4% and 0.3% respectively.
