BASF announced plans to build a second production line at the BASF Huizhou Daya Bay site in Guangdong Province to expand its polymer dispersions capacity. The new production line is scheduled to be operational in 2024.
As the world’s leading dispersion manufacturer, BASF is continuously investing in the fast-growing Asian market. BASF Huizhou Daya Bay Base has obvious geographical advantages and is close to key customers in South China. The base produces a variety of high-performance acrylic and styrene-butadiene dispersion products, which are suitable for industries such as coatings, construction, adhesives, paper, textiles and packaging, as well as new markets such as lithium-ion batteries.

BASF’s Dispersions division operates three production sites in China. Its BASF Huizhou Daya Bay site started operations in 2012.
