Recently, Henan Shenma Hydrogen Chemical Co., Ltd. held a grand swearing-in meeting for the 100-day battle in 2023. The meeting anchored the goal of mechanical completion on July 13, marking the company’s hydrogen-ammonia project construction entering the sprint period .
It is reported that the total investment of the hydrogen ammonia project under construction is 2.3 billion yuan, and it will start in November 2020. It is one of the key construction projects in Henan Province in 2020. The project is designed to produce 400,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 400 million cubic meters of hydrogen per year. After completion, it can solve the problems of shortage of raw materials for caprolactam production upstream of nylon 6 and high procurement costs.
“China’s Nylon City” – Pingdingshan City, Henan Province has planned and deployed major projects such as 1 million tons/year of caprolactam, 600,000 tons/year of adipic acid, 600,000 tons/year of nylon chips, and dyeing and finishing industrial parks. At present, projects with an annual output of 50,000 tons of adiponitrile, an annual output of 150,000 tons of hexamethylenediamine, and an annual output of 240,000 tons of nylon 66 chips are under construction.
The hydrogen ammonia project under construction is a supporting supporting project for major projects such as 1 million tons/year of caprolactam and 600,000 tons/year of adipic acid. After it is put into operation, it will realize the localized production of key raw materials in the nylon industry and effectively reduce the purchase cost of nylon chemical raw materials. Shenma Co., Ltd. will also realize a wider range of upward integrated operations, extend the nylon 66 industry chain to the upstream basic raw material field, and further highlight the advantages of the entire industry chain.
