Among them, knowledge-intensive service trade accounted for 43.5%, an increase of 1.5 percentage points from the previous year, and the import and export of travel services increased by 65.4%, which is the fastest growing service trade field. The steady growth of service trade is mainly due to the following reasons:
First, the support policies for trade in services continued to take effect. In recent years, the Ministry of Commerce has conscientiously implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and together with relevant departments, has issued a series of policies and measures to promote the development of trade in services, including promoting the innovative development of trade in services, deepening the opening up of the service industry, accelerating the transformation and upgrading of service outsourcing, and strengthening the characteristics Service export base construction, vigorously develop digital trade, etc. All localities adapt measures to local conditions and actively introduce supporting measures. The implementation of these policies and measures has effectively promoted the steady development of my country's trade in services.
Second, the foundation for the development of service trade is more solid. Since the beginning of this year, the national economy has continued to recover steadily, and the service industry has maintained rapid growth. In the first half of the year, the added value of my country's service industry was 33 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%, accounting for 56% of GDP, 1.6 percentage points higher than the same period of the previous year, and a contribution rate of 66.1% to the growth of the national economy. strong support.
Third, the "circle of friends" of service trade is expanding day by day. In recent years, my country's international cooperation in trade in services has continued to deepen, with more than 200 countries and regions having trade in services with my country, and signed memorandums of cooperation in trade in services with 15 countries. Since the beginning of this year, the Ministry of Commerce has actively promoted the strengthening of dialogues and exchanges on trade in services with countries jointly building the “Belt and Road”, BRICS countries, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, promoted the establishment of cooperation mechanisms with relevant countries, deepened cooperation with key countries, and established a network for international cooperation in trade in services It is becoming more and more perfect.
Shu Jueting said that she will actively play the role of key exhibition platforms such as the China International Import Expo and the Service Trade Fair, and provide international public goods and effective carriers for strengthening service trade cooperation between my country and other countries in the world.
