At the same time, Guangdong Power Grid is also focusing on improving the distribution network structure and intelligence level, realizing the intelligent transformation of load forecasting, and providing important support for the full consumption of new energy. Located in Songshan Lake High-tech Zone, the alley multi-station integrated DC micro-grid demonstration project integrates substations, charging stations, photovoltaic stations, energy storage stations, 5G base stations, and data center stations, realizing distributed new energy, electric charging, and storage. Flexible and friendly access to energy, AC and DC loads, etc., and build an AC and DC power distribution system to form a green and low-carbon "micro-ecological circle". The comprehensive operating efficiency of the system is over 95%. As of the end of July, Guangdong Power Grid has built a total of 17,867 smart distribution stations, and the construction of smart distribution networks is at the leading level in the country.
