Product Introduction
VESTANAT H₁₂MDI is an alicyclic diisocyanate. It is a low viscosity liquid with a pungent odor. Used in polyurethane synthesis.

Properties and description
Alicyclic diisocyanate VESTANAT H₁₂MDI, used as Material made of polyurethane with excellent light stability, weather resistance and mechanical properties. It is also particularly suitable for manufacturing elastomers, water-based PU dispersions and light-cured polyurethane resins. In addition to its superior mechanical properties, VESTANAT H₁₂ MDI also shows excellent hydrolysis resistance and chemical resistance.

Activity and Catalysis
Aliphatic and cycloaliphatic diisocyanates are less reactive than aromatic ones. VESTANAT H₁₂ MDI usually requires the use of appropriate catalysts to accelerate the urethanation reaction, and it is recommended to use organotin catalysts. (such as DBTDL or DBTDAc)
If the reaction is carried out at a relatively high temperature, there is no need to add a catalyst.

Storage and Shipping
VESTANAT H₁₂MDI is sensitive to moisture. If the influence of moisture can be eliminated, it can be stored for at least 6 months without affecting the quality of the above standards.

VESTANAT H₁₂MDI will partially crystallize and deposit at the bottom at temperatures below 25℃. If this happens, it needs to be heated to 40-50℃ and homogenized before use.
VESTANAT H₁₂MDI is supplied in non-recyclable 200KG drums.
