Huntsman will introduce three new products at the European Coatings Show (ECS) and will focus on demonstrating the ingenuity of these products and the confidence given to formulators in creating coatings with its chemistries .
New product launches at European Coatings Show 2023 include POLYRESYST® IC6005 Polyurethane System, a new intumescent coating developed for the construction industry that provides passive fire protection and strong protection.
POLYRESYST® The IC6005 polyurethane system works on a variety of substrates and offers improved chemical resistance, water resistance and durability. When sprayed, the coating cures quickly and has a very fast dry time at any desired thickness. It also does not contain any added solvents, has very low VOC content, and has less impact on air quality, human health and the environment. At the same time, Huntsman will also launch a new bio-based coating system.
In addition, Huntsman will introduce a new monopolyetheramine, JEFFAMINE® M-3085 polyetheramine, which has a higher molecular weight than the commonly used JEFFAMINE® M-2070 Polyetheramine and JEFFAMINE® M-1000 Polyetheramine. This new polyetheramine can be used as a raw material for the production of synthetic pigment dispersants, or as a component of reactive surfactants for emulsification or dispersion of epoxy resins in water.
At the Huntsman stand at European Coatings Show, visitors can see its new POLYRESYST® IC6005 system in I-beams, cross-laminated wood panels and a range of ceramic tile applications.
