The group standard “Waterborne Polyurethane Coatings for Machinery and Equipment” formulated by Ningbo Coatings and Coating Industry Association has been released and implemented for nearly half a year. The implementation situation, collecting relevant feedback and implementation results from enterprises during the implementation process, on August 21, 2023, Secretary-General Wu Xiaoming of Ningbo Coating Association and director He Yifang, leader of the standard group of the special committee, visited “Water-based Polyurethane Coatings for Machinery and Equipment” Group standard implementation enterprises guide enterprises in the process of standard implementation and provide technical support and services.

Director He Yifang, the leader of the standard group of the special committee, communicated with the technical personnel and the person in charge of the enterprise, and went to the production workshop to understand the production process of “water-based polyurethane coatings for mechanical equipment”. It is proposed that there must be no missing link in the middle of the product from the detection and control of raw materials, from the production process records, to the product factory inspection records, to the product factory inspection report, to the final packaging labeling. It is necessary to track the relevant original data records for each batch of products produced, so as to ensure that the “water-based polyurethane coatings for mechanical equipment” produced by the enterprise can meet the requirements of the group standard. At the same time, it also provides guidance and answers to the problems encountered by enterprises in the implementation of standards.
