Gulbrandsen expands polyurethane catalyst capacity in India

On August 14, 2023, Gulbrandsen, a global leader in specialty chemicals and one of the world’s largest producers of tin catalysts for the polyurethane foam industry, completed the commissioning and safe start-up of a new tin catalyst production plant at its plant in Dach, India. The plant will produce stannous octoate and stannous neodecanoate.

Joerg Duebel, Global Business Director Polyurethane Additives at Gulbrandsen, said: “Thanks to the coordinated efforts of our global teams, we have completed the safe start-up of the plant ahead of schedule. This facility will help us meet the growing demand for these products, while also strengthening our Commitment to high quality catalysts for the foaming industry.”
