The advanced materials business unit of Huntsman, USA recently Launched 3 new low-temperature curing agents for heavy-duty industrial coating applications including oil and gas, marine, transportation and industrial maintenance.

Among them, Ara Cool 3077 is a multi-purpose curing agent for coatings and floors, which can be used as an auxiliary accelerator for slow curing agents; Ara Cool 1047 W 80 is a low-temperature curing agent with high surface tolerance, Provides adhesion even in wet or low temperature conditions; Ara Cool 1034 XW 90 is a curing agent with low temperature reaction properties for general protective and decorative coatings.

According to the company, its Ara Cool products are designed to meet the need for fast curing at low temperature environments, while also meeting the need to reduce VOC levels. Between 32 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit, the cure speed of the Ara Cool product line has been improved. The product is suitable for many applications including anti-corrosion and protective coatings, as well as decorative coatings.

In cold or unpredictable weather, the paint application process using the Ara Cool product line can increase the construction speed, so the cycle of paint application application can be extended to colder seasons, avoiding the interruption of project progress.
