Not sensitive to water
Plainly speaking, when producing polyurethane elastomers and other products, foaming, bulging, cracking, scars, pitting and other undesirable phenomena are prone to occur. The root cause of these adverse phenomena is the trace moisture in the raw materials, including the moisture in the air. Reacts with TDI/MDI to generate carbon dioxide, and the commonly used organic amine tin catalyst has a strong catalytic effect on the reaction between water and TDI/MDI. Even if the dehydration measures are done well, it is difficult to avoid the above-mentioned bubble defects. . However, CUCAT series catalysts can effectively shield or inhibit the reaction between trace amounts of water mixed in polyurethane raw materials and isocyanate, and avoid the resulting carbon dioxide, thereby achieving a non-foaming effect. This feature is very similar to organic mercury catalysts. The water suppression effect of CUCAT series catalysts is 3-5 times that of ordinary organic bismuth. Ordinary organic bismuth is only slightly better than tin amines, which are very easy to foam catalysts, but they are still sensitive to moisture and easy to foam when used in elastomers.
Excellent workmanship
Ensure that the composite material maintains low viscosity and fluidity before mixing evenly, which is very important to reduce the mechanical stirring bubbles generated by mixing and quickly fill the mold cavity; the high catalytic efficiency makes the composite material in as little as 10 minutes after the completion of mixing (or even shorter) to achieve the strength required for demoulding. If the process permits, it can be cured at room temperature without subsequent heating vulcanization. It is a typical low energy consumption and high efficiency. The use of CUCAT catalysts to produce elastomers is better than the traditional high temperature melting MOCA process. It can save more than 50% of the energy cost, and the process is simpler and the formula is more flexible.

The polyurethane material synthesized by CUCAT series environmental protection catalysts can pass strict environmental protection regulations such as the ROHS directive of the United States and the European Union. Due to insufficient catalytic activity and inappropriate organic lead carriers, various chemical components in the runway do not react completely and produce odors. Dissolved organic lead is mixed. The volatile solvents are even more pungent and lingering. Especially if the runway is laid in a place with poor ventilation, there will still be peculiar smell after one year in severe cases. And as we all do product development, we all know that many products produced with organic mercury cannot be exported because they cannot meet the requirements for environmental protection.
