The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a patent for a multilayer thermoplastic golf ball with a polyurethane inner and outer core.
This innovative invention comes from the sports brand Nike, and the golf ball "uses thermoplastic polyurethane materials for both the inner cover and the outer cover."
In May 2013, Nike submitted a patent application document, which was approved in early December this year. The patent application number is: US2014/039358.
