Polyurethane materials are widely used in shoe materials because of their excellent physical properties and good processing properties. For example, insoles that are in close contact with the soles of the feet. Because of its "intimacy", consumers pay more attention to the comfort and breathability of insoles. Traditional breathable insole foams are high-resilience foams, while slow-rebound foams are often closed cells and poor air permeability, so they are rarely used in insoles. Through technological innovation, Wanhua Beijing breaks through traditional technical barriers and maximizes the superior performance of slow rebound insoles.
After nearly a year of technical research, Wanhua Beijing has recently developed a slow-elastic breathable insole modified MDI WANNATE? The hardness is between 60-100askerF. The insole prepared by this technology is prepared in the same way as the high-resilience breathable insole. It needs to be made of polyurethane foam, cut into pieces, laminated, hot-pressed, and finally cut into finished insoles. The finished insole has superior physical properties and air permeability, and is resistant to fatigue and compression. It is bound to become the benchmark technology leading the development trend of the slow elastic breathable insole industry.
1. Good air permeability
The foam prepared by this modified MDI can control the cell structure and air permeability of the foam, and the insole made by the thermocompression molding process can also have good air permeability.
2. Good physical properties
The elongation rate of traditional high-elastic breathable insole foam is generally 100-150%, while the elongation rate of slow-elastic breathable insole foam prepared by this modified MDI can reach 300%, which avoids cracking during hot pressing. Processing latitude is greatly improved.
3. Resistance to compression
According to ASTM D395-B-2003 standard, the compression set value of the foam is less than 15%.
4. Excellent low temperature storage performance
The modified MDI can be stored above 8°C; while the storage temperature of traditional modified MDI for shoes is above 15°C.
As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd., with its advanced and excellent R&D technology and stable and reliable raw material supply, Wanhua Beijing will be committed to providing systematic solutions for insole suppliers.
