And India, as one of the larger markets, must not be ignored. From January to October 2018, China exported less than 8,600 tons of pure MDI to India, a year-on-year increase of 43%. The rate of increase, accounting for 9% of total exports. During the period, almost every month has improved compared with the same period last year, especially in the traditional peak seasons of February and March and September after the rainy season, sales have almost doubled compared with 2017.
Two. Japan’s pure MDI export to India from January to October 2018
January-October 2018, Japan’s pure MDI exports have generally shrunk, but India’s market share has increased , reaching nearly 2,800 tons, an increase of 29% year-on-year, accounting for 5% of total exports. Among them, the year-on-year decline in April and July was relatively large, reaching nearly 50%. The increase in January and August-October is mainly due to the increase in demand after the rainy season.
Three.From January to October 2018, South Korea exported pure MDI to India
In 2018, South Korea’s Kumho Mitsui MDI expanded its production and increased its export efforts. From January to October, the total export volume increased by 42% year-on-year, reaching 73,000 tons. However, the volume exported to India has decreased, around 4,700 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4%. The export volume of Korean manufacturers is related to their sales strategies, resulting in weak supply stability when prices change, which has a certain impact on sales.
Fourth.China, Japan and Korea exported pure MDI to India from January to October 2018
From January to October 2018, China, Japan and South Korea exported a total of 16,000 tons of pure MDI to India , an increase of 23% year-on-year, accounting for 7% of the total export volume. Among them, China is the main exporter, accounting for more than half of the market share, an increase compared to last year. Followed by South Korea, accounting for less than 30% of the share, lower than the same period last year. Japan accounted for 17% of the share, which was basically the same as the same period last year.
