(April 11, 2019, Shanghai, China / Colombe, France) Arkema’s new production line for light-curing advanced liquid resins in Nansha, southern Guangdong, China has been successfully put into operation, increasing production capacity by 30%. The commissioning ceremony took place today, and the new production line will help meet strong demand in the electronics, 3D printing, adhesives and inkjet printing markets in Asia. This investment also helps Sartomer, a subsidiary of Arkema, to develop cutting-edge solutions in the field of advanced and sustainable curing technologies.

The new production line will be dedicated to the production of state-of-the-art UV, LED and EB (Electron Beam) liquid resins, bringing efficiency and performance advantages to light-curing systems dedicated to high-end applications, such as in In the field of electronics, it can be used in the manufacture and design of printed circuits, smartphones, tablets and TV screens. The line will also produce N3xtDimension®, Sartomer’s expanding portfolio of unique resins for 3D printed products.
