According to the announcement, the TDI plant of Hungary Borsod Chemical Company, a subsidiary of Wanhua Chemical ( 250,000 tons/year) will start to stop production for maintenance on July 15, 2023, and the maintenance is expected to be about 30 days.
MDI plant (350,000 tons/year) will be launched on July 18, 2023 Started to stop production for maintenance and carry out technical transformation and expansion. After technical transformation, the production capacity will increase to 400,000 tons per year, and the maintenance is expected to take about 80 days.
This production shutdown is a routine maintenance according to the annual plan. Production and operation will not be affected.
