Project background: In order to give full play to the industrial synergy between polyether and MDI/TDI, Wanhua Group's development strategy needs to further expand the market share of polyether polyols, enhance Wanhua's brand image and consolidate its voice in the polyether polyol industry.
Construction site: Wanhua Industrial Park, No. 39 Huandao North Road, Daxie, Ningbo No additional land is required for this technological transformation project, and all new additions and changes will be constructed within the scope of the original land use.
Commencement time: April 2022
Annual working hours and labor capacity: The annual working hours of the main production equipment are 334 days, The annual operation is 8,000 hours, no new employees are added, and the number of employees is still 170.
Production shift system: The main production equipment operates in three shifts in four shifts, assisting workers and Managers implement day shift system.
Main construction content: ①Now The tank area on the north side of the monomer polyether unit was demolished, and two new 100m3 monomer polyether production lines were built at the demolition location, with a capacity of 10 10,000 tons/year; ②The existing monomer polyether plant has increased its production capacity by 70,000 tons/year through product structure adjustment, automation transformation, and production process adjustment; ③Remove the existing propylene oxide intermediate tank and ethylene oxide storage tank, Transformed into a Class C loading and unloading truck stack for loading and unloading of Class C materials; ④ The original 1-fluorodichloroethane storage tank in the Class A and B tank farms was changed to n-/isopentane storage tanks; ⑤ Added two Methacyclohexylamine storage tank; ⑥The backfilling part of the fire accident buffer pool, and the remaining part is used as the initial rainwater pool; ⑦Remove the existing Class C warehouse, and transform the original Class C warehouse area and the backfill area of the fire accident buffer pool into a Class C tank farm; ⑧Remove the original sewage pool and sewage treatment room and transform it into a Class A filling station for the packaging of Class A materials and polyether; Afterwards, the original waste gas system was dismantled; ⑩The original paraformaldehyde packaging plant was downgraded to a Class C warehouse for storage of materials such as polyether polyols, additives, and white sugar, and an automatic unloading and feeding system for white sugar was added; The production capacity of the ether production workshop has been increased to 200,000 tons/year through technical transformation, mainly including the optimization of the feeding system, the optimization of the mixing system, and the increase of the combined material loading area; 10,000 tons/year.
Relying on Ningbo Daxie Development Zone's superior port location conditions, public infrastructure and industries Chain advantage, Wanhua Rongwei continues to expand production capacity through reconstruction and expansion based on the existing polyether polyol plant operating experience. The annual production capacity of polyether polyol products has been expanded from 110,000 tons to 280,000 tons to meet the demand for downstream polyurethane raw materials. And lead the long-term stable development of the industry, and create a new brand of Wanhua in the polyurethane industry.
