The Automobile-Related Industry Branch of CAAM was established in 1992. The magnitude has attracted the attention of the world, and the growth rates in the past two years have been 52% and 32.4% respectively. Due to the stagnation of automobile growth in developed countries, the growth of developing countries has become the core hotspot of world automobile growth. Emerging countries represented by China have grown rapidly. In 2010 The production and sales of automobiles in China have exceeded 18 million, accounting for more than 25% of the world’s automobile production and sales. China has become the world’s largest automobile production and sales country.”
This gratifying development situation reflects the development speed of the entire Chinese economy. When it comes to the future development prospects of the automobile industry, Zhou Bing is full of confidence: “Since the automobile industry began, its development speed has basically been higher than that of the national economy. The speed of economic development, so it will continue to maintain a relatively high-speed growth in the future, and at the same time, the amount of polyurethane used will definitely increase accordingly, and the application of automotive polyurethane in automobiles is among the best.”

Regarding the direction of the domestic economy and the automobile industry during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, Zhou Yibing predicted: “During the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, the GDP will still maintain a relatively high growth rate, and the disposable income of residents will still increase year by year; The mileage of expressways is increasing year by year, and the traffic environment is improving year by year; the auto market will be more open; the demand in China’s auto market will still be 1.5 times higher than the growth rate of the country’s GDP, with an annual growth rate of 10-15%.

As a person who has dealt with the automobile industry for most of his life, Zhou Yibing’s enthusiasm for this industry has not diminished. Facing such a thriving market demand, he believes that this is the critical period of opportunity for the development of the automobile industry during the “12th Five-Year Plan”. He proposed: “We must embark on a new road of industrial structure upgrading and adjustment, and rationally view the growth of the future automobile market. The automobile industry must shoulder the historical mission of transforming China’s manufacturing industry from large to strong.” At the same time, he also pointed out: “Independent innovation is our The key to transforming into a powerful automobile country.” It is a historical necessity for China’s automobile industry to transform from a large production country to an innovative one.
