According to reports, GCL Nengke Zhangjiagang 20GWh energy storage base, which is put into operation this time, is based on advanced new energy storage materials, with lithium batteries and energy storage system integration as the core, and has core competition in the field of energy storage industry It is a powerful intelligent manufacturing base, and it is expected to achieve an output value of 14 billion yuan in 2024.
From the perspective of technology research and development, the project is positioned as a liquid-cooled PACK standardized unit, an energy storage liquid-cooled integrated machine, an energy storage liquid-cooled container, a station-type super energy storage power station, and a building-integrated energy storage brick (energy storage unit) R&D and manufacturing of high-end energy storage products such as integration of optical storage, charging and computing. From the perspective of products, the project products have the characteristics of high safety, long life, high energy efficiency, and building blocks, and can be applied to diversified scenarios such as power supply side, power grid side, large base, and industrial and commercial distribution, which will effectively consolidate GCL in the power supply side , grid end, various load ends, and the comprehensive strength of independent energy storage cluster modeling and intelligent collaborative control.
Analysts pointed out that the Zhangjiagang energy storage base will become the core carrier and benchmark factory of GCL's energy storage industry chain, undertaking the integration of "power + energy storage + computing power" and the advantages of material technology.
