August 25, Specialty Chemicals LANXESS and Beijing Goethe-Institut successfully held the “LANXESS – PASCH Future Rallye” event. This is the third consecutive year that LANXESS has supported the event, which aims to provide workplace training camps for Chinese high school students aged 16-18 and help them learn about workplace life in advance. The event was also supported by the German Embassy in Beijing, DIHK Shanghai Representative Office, German Center Shanghai, Ladies Who Tech, NUDE by Korea and Instabil Studio.
Michael Rockel, President of LANXESS Greater China, welcomed the arrival of the students. Create a real workplace experience
This is the third consecutive year that LANXESS has opened the door to high school students for workplace experience. Since the event kicked off on May 20, students have explored issues such as workplace innovation and sustainable development. Their experience includes professional training, online business planning game “Start Your Own Company” and other activities.
On the day of the event, 18 high school students from Shanghai, Hangzhou, Wuxi and other places gathered in LANXESS Shanghai Office. LANXESS employee volunteers showed the students the working scene of a multinational company in an all-round way. In order to cultivate students’ professional thinking ability, creativity and communication ability, the project also specially designed the “product idea display” link. During the student presentation, judges from different fields, including LANXESS, listened carefully to their creative product and service solutions and provided them with professional feedback.

Promoting Sino-German Educational Cooperation
