Recently, Ningbo Fengmei Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. successfully completed the foundation stone laying ceremony for the annual production of 50,000 tons of polyurethane new material project in Chengdong Industrial Park, Xiangshan Economic Development Zone.
It is understood that the project is located in Chengdong Industrial Park of the development zone, with a total investment of 650 million yuan, aiming to provide bonding and sealing solutions for new energy vehicles and power batteries. As a new functional material project in the chemical industry, it will inject new momentum into the functional materials and automotive mold supporting industries.
The new energy automobile industry is currently growing rapidly, ushering in unprecedented development opportunities, followed by a substantial increase in the demand for high-performance coatings and adhesives for automobiles. In order to further enhance the overall market competitiveness and broaden the business chain, Fengmei Chemical was established in January 2023, focusing on high-value-added products such as high-performance coatings and thermally conductive adhesives for new energy vehicle batteries.
Currently, Fengmei Chemical R&D Center now has a group of outstanding scientific researchers, and the laboratory also has first-class trial production research capabilities. The chemical research and development center was also officially opened.
