Univar Solutions, a global leader in solutions for users of specialty feedstocks and chemicals, announced today that it has been named the exclusive U.S. distribution partner of Patcham Corporation for the sale of PATcat™ metal catalysts . Patcham's metal catalysts, including tin catalysts and tin-free catalysts. These catalysts can be used to improve the performance of polyurethane systems. This complements Univar Solutions' robust portfolio of polyurethane additives.

PATcat catalysts are widely used by formulators in a range of industrial applications. As general-purpose quick-acting substances, they can speed up chemical reactions and affect curing properties, which can be used to produce high-quality polyurethane adhesives. Tin-free catalyst compounds are considered to be more environmentally effective and versatile catalysts that can replace some of the existing commonly used catalysts.
