Sichuan Yongying New Materials 300,000 tons of BDO made new progress

At present, the first phase of the project has completed the construction of most of the supporting public works and auxiliary production facilities.

Under the non-stop rush of all parties in the project, at present, 80% of the pouring task of 7,000 pile foundations in the first phase of Yongying New Material Project has been completed; the pouring of raw material and finished product tank farms, methanol intermediate tank farms, formaldehyde tank farm foundations, and gas tank foundations Done, out of the ground.

The integrated industrial chain project of Yongying New Materials with an annual output of 800,000 tons of functional new materials is located in the Industrial Park of Nanchong Economic Development Zone. The planned land of the project covers an area of ​​about 5,000 mu. It will be constructed in two phases with a total investment of about 33 billion yuan. It will be successfully started on June 30, 2022, and the investment amount of 3.5 billion yuan has been completed so far. In the first quarter of this year, an investment of 900 million yuan was completed.

The project revolves around green chemical products and uses natural gas as raw material to produce 1,4-butanediol (BDO for short). A total of 600,000 tons/year of BDO, 500,000 tons/year of PBAT and 300,000 tons/year of spandex will be constructed in the project, which will be implemented in three phases. The production scale of PTMEG; the BDO production scale of 300,000 tons/year in the second phase; the BDO produced in the first and second phases of the third phase project will be used as raw material, and will be extended downstream to build the remaining PBAT device, PTMEG device and spandex device.
