Recently, BASF was awarded the “2022 Supplier of the Year” award at the 31st Annual Supplier Awards Ceremony held by General Motors Corporation (GM) in San Antonio, Texas, USA.
The GM “Supplier of the Year” award aims to recognize global suppliers for their outstanding contributions to GM in the fields of creating extraordinary value and promoting high-quality technological innovation in the industry. This is the 16th time BASF has received this award.
Jeffrey Jones, BASF Vice President, Automotive OEM Coatings Solutions and General Motors Key Account Manager, said: “It is a great honor to be awarded this award by General Motors, our important strategic partner. Recognition of a close partnership for a sustainable future.”
The GM “Supplier of the Year” award is selected by a panel of judges from GM’s global cross-functional team based on the supplier’s performance in product procurement, global procurement and manufacturing services, customer service and after-sales service, and logistics.

At this award ceremony, a total of 121 outstanding suppliers from 17 countries won awards.
