On March 26, my country’s first deep-sea floating wind power platform “CNOOC Guanlan” set sail from Zhuhai, Guangdong, and sailed to the waters of Wenchang, Hainan. This is my country’s first floating wind power platform with a working sea area of more than 100 kilometers from the coastline and a water depth of more than 100 meters. Its completion and operation have increased my country’s independent development capacity for offshore wind power from less than 50 meters to more than 100 meters. Lay a solid foundation for development from shallow seas to deep seas.
After the wind power platform is put into operation, the annual power generation of the wind turbines will reach 22 million kwh, and the electricity generated will be used for oil and gas production, which can save nearly 10 million cubic meters of natural gas and reduce 22,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year.
It is reported that Hilong Saineng New Materials provides protective solutions for the wind power towers of this platform, including polyurethane topcoat, epoxy zinc-rich primer, thick build epoxy cloud iron paint and other products.
Hilong Saineng New Materials successfully assisted the “CNOOC Guanlan” project to set sail, providing it with long-term protection and continuously generating green power from wind power. At the same time, it also contributes to my country’s promotion of the construction of a clean and low-carbon energy system and the formation of a globally competitive wind power industry chain and supply chain.
