Communicating the whereabouts, tightening the interface screws, and checking the condition of the equipment… Everyone performed their duties and successfully installed the device in place.
“The alkali washing tower is the main equipment for the main production of BDO, that is, 1,4-butanediol. Its function is to remove impurities in acetylene gas and ensure that the chemical reactions in the subsequent production process are carried out in an orderly and normal manner.” Deng Qi, chief engineer of the project Introduction said.
The project is expected to have a total investment of 13 billion yuan. The current construction project is the first phase. The construction content includes 300,000 tons/year 1,4-butanediol (BDO), 100,000 tons/year degradable plastic PBAT, 60,000 tons/year High-end polyether material PTMEG, 720,000 tons of formaldehyde production equipment, and supporting annual production of 360,000 tons of acetylene raw material (calcium carbide) combined equipment.
“At present, only a small number of domestic BDO production enterprises have their own acetylene raw material production lines, and our project has a production capacity of 360,000 tons of acetylene raw materials in the first phase, and is equipped with a 50 megawatt generator set. The production process has a low energy period and high efficiency. , low-carbon and clean characteristics, and advanced technology, we have the advantages of technological innovation, energy saving and high product quality, and the products are more in line with market expectations.” Deng Qi is very confident about the future products of the project. “After the project is fully put into production, we are confident to become the industry benchmark in terms of scale, quality, energy consumption and efficiency.” Deng Qi said.
In the prefabrication workshop of the project, it was seen that many workers were “fully armed” holding welding torches and welding parts. Accompanied by “sparks flying”, each large or small parts are welded one after another.
Deng Qi introduced that in order to ensure that the project was put into trial production as scheduled, the company fenced off the workshop on the north side of the calcium carbide project and set up a prefabrication workshop. “When the temperature is low in winter, we prefabricated all parts such as pipes, valves, and elbows required by the process here in advance, thereby shortening the construction amount after the beginning of spring, speeding up the project progress, and ensuring that each planned node can be carried out smoothly and orderly. ”
At present, the construction of the main BDO project, calcium carbide project, and power station of the first phase of the project has entered the final stage, and some equipment has begun to be installed.
“At present, the overall construction progress of the first phase of the project has exceeded 90%.
