In the third week of August coal prices in Yunnan Province fell slightly month-on-month

According to the Ministry of Commerce's important means of production market monitoring system, this week (August 14-20, 2023), the average price of coal in Yunnan Province was 1246.5 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.7%. Among them, the average price of anthracite was 1,000 yuan/ton, which was the same as the previous month; the average price of coking coal was 1,950 yuan/ton, which was the same as the previous month; the average price of steam coal was 789.4 yuan/ton, which was 3.1% lower than the previous month. The purchasing demand in the downstream market was not strong, and the coal price fell slightly from the previous month. It is expected that in the later period, the supply and demand of the coal market will be stable, and the price may stabilize.
